Terrie Koles Design, LLC is a full service, boutique-sized design and art consultation firm located in Lower Manhattan. Terrie Koles, its owner and founder, is a designer with a background in fine arts (MFA-painting), art direction (print and film), and interior design.
Koles' career began as an award-winning art director with some of Manhattan's most highly regarded advertising agencies. Her national and international TV and print campaigns have been featured in AdWeek, Advertising Age, Communication Arts, Archive, Newsday Magazine, and Art Direction Magazine, where her entire portfolio was showcased.
Koles' work as the creative force behind designing and executing conceptual, 3-D installations for a breakthrough research methodology has been featured on the front cover of the New York Times (Focus Groups that Look Like Playgroups) business section. For her outstanding design, Terrie Koles Design was awarded, "Best of 2016" by Houzz USA, and included in "22 Melavigliose Case di Houzz 2015" for Houzz Italia. In an effort to give back, she has teamed up with private companies and nonprofit organizations to design and execute site specific, tailor-made projects for high profile fund raising events.
In addition to excellent and innovative design, TKD clients also benefit from working with a designer who has experience in the art world. Whether her client is a seasoned collector, or newly starting out, Koles brings to every project the understanding of the importance that art has in the designing of a home - as seen in this article for Houzz.
