Beach House: This project required taking a simple beach bungalow, made from a mishmash of additions over the years, and creating a contemporary family home. We gutted it, opened up an unusable attic, then added wooden beams, giving the house the illusion of more space. The footprint of the house was unchanged, and we had to adhere to very strict historical district rules.
